A logo from nothing and T-shirts in days: the Thames Path relay for the Air Ambulance
They set off at 5am on Friday 5 June and reached the Thames Barrier just over 33 hours later, on the Saturday afternoon, having relayed the length of the Thames Path for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance. Their T-shirts had a logo that did not exist until a few days before.
The brief
The team needed T-shirts on a very fast turnaround and, having read that we offer a design service, asked for help with their logo. They had no artwork to give us at all.
Normally we ask for print-ready artwork and keep our design service for tweaks. But the idea did not sound complicated and the cause was a good one, so we designed the artwork from scratch.
What we did
From the vector artwork we had produced, we printed the T-shirts in CAD-cut vinyl, a fast method, and one that gave clean lines and definition on the new logo. The shirts were delivered as promised, before the start.
The result
The relay finished in just over 33 hours, the T-shirts were, in the team’s words, loved by everyone, and the fundraising page passed double its original target.
