What a Leavers Hoodie Order Looks Like
A leavers hoodie order is one design repeated across a whole year group, with the school or university name, the leaving year, and usually every name in the year printed on the back. Some groups add a nickname list instead of formal names. We set the back print out so the longest names still read cleanly rather than shrinking the whole block to fit.
Front printing is normally the school crest or the year group on the chest. If you want individual names or house colours on the front as well, that is handled in the same run rather than as a separate order. Sizes Across a Whole Year Group
Sizing is the part that slows most leavers orders down. Send the list in whatever form you collected it — a spreadsheet, a form export, or a typed list — and we will work from that. Hoodies come in adult and youth fits, so a year group with a wide range of builds can be covered from one order.
If sizes are still coming in when you want to start, we can agree the design first and take the final list later. Nothing is printed until both the artwork and the name list are confirmed, which is what stops a leaver being missed off the back. See our printing techniques for the full range.
Ordering in Time for the End of Term
Leavers hoodies have a fixed deadline and no second chance, so timing matters more here than on an ordinary order. Half of our orders leave us within 7.4 days of being placed, and nine in ten within 13.6 days. Delivery adds about 6.5 days on top of that.
Working back from a late-June leaving date, that means placing the order in May leaves comfortable room, and April leaves room to spare. If your date is tighter than that, tell us the date rather than the deadline you would like, and we will say plainly whether it is achievable before you commit.
Who Organises the Order
In practice a leavers hoodie order is run by a parent group, a form tutor, a student committee or the school office. We work with one named contact whichever it is, so the name list, the artwork and the sizes all come from the same place and nothing gets crossed.
There is no minimum order: we have printed single hoodies, and we print for year groups of two hundred. The artwork is kept on file afterwards, so if a leaver is missed or a hoodie is lost, a repeat print matches the original exactly rather than being set up again.
