365 campaign T-shirts printed the same day for Penny For London

Penny For London turns small change into funding for young Londoners: breakfast clubs, reading and numeracy projects, sports coaching, training and work for young adults from the city’s poorer areas. The campaign needed 365 T-shirts, quickly, and the budget was the budget.

Penny For London printed t-shirts

The brief

365 printed T-shirts for the latest campaign, with a very fast turnaround and a fixed budget to stay inside. The event was close, so the quote we gave included same-day printing and next-day delivery.

What we did

The garment came first: to keep within the budget we chose the Fruit of the Loom Original Full Cut Tee, a popular promotional T-shirt for its look and comfort. The print was direct-to-garment, the fastest route, and one that uses eco-friendly water-based inks.

Once the artwork was agreed the design was programmed into the machines and the run was completed within a few hours. A next-day service put the T-shirts with the client comfortably ahead of the fundraising event.

What the campaign funds

Penny for London raises money for extra-curricular education for young people in the more deprived parts of the city: breakfast clubs, reading and numeracy projects, sports coaching, help with the move from primary to secondary school, and work and training opportunities for young adults.

As the team put it, the pennies turn quickly into pounds, and that money goes towards giving young people a better chance than they would otherwise have had.
