From vinyl vests to embroidered jackets: BeachFit Barcelona
BeachFit is outdoor fitness next to the Barcelona beach, fit, boxing and yoga classes, and a boot camp weekend in a farmhouse near Tarragona. Their kit started as printed vests and bags for the online shop, and grew into a full embroidered workwear range for the trainers.
The first orders
BeachFit first came to us for garments that would show off the brand during classes and help sign people up: printed vests, bags and other sporting accessories for their online shop, giveaways and promotions. Across the T-shirts, running vests, bags and water bottles we used a mix of vinyl and screen printing, checking with the team as we went that nothing would rub during a workout. Having an office in Barcelona meant we could print and deliver quickly.
Moving the trainers to embroidery
When they came back for workwear the trainers and staff would wear through every session, the earlier CAD-cut vinyl was not the answer, they wanted something more durable and robust that would still be comfortable against the skin. We suggested embroidery: longer-lasting, fully machine-washable without losing colour or stitching, and no print surface to irritate.
Two logos, two set-ups, embroidered onto T-shirts, jackets, caps and bags. The stitching brought out the detail in the BeachFit Junkie logo, and the client loved the caps and jackets in particular.
Since then
We continue to supply all of BeachFit’s workwear and sportswear, both for the staff and for resale in their store.
