Own-brand T-shirts for a dance academy, down to the label

Hannah Marie started dancing at nine, was assisting the baby and primary classes at thirteen, had her own weekly classes at seventeen, and now runs a dance academy with an Acro Dance qualification behind her. She wanted T-shirts to sell to her pupils, and she wanted them to look like hers, not a manufacturer’s.

Screen printed T-shirts for Hannah Marie Dance Academy

The brief

T-shirts to sell at the dance school, carrying the academy’s own branding. Hannah’s original idea was to have the label taken out of the back of the neck and replaced with her own.

What we did

Screen printing was the most cost-effective route for the order. On the label, one of our sales team suggested a neater option than sewing in a new one: cut out every manufacturer’s label and replace the Gildan label with a custom print, designed by our graphic design team, carrying the care instructions and the garment size. Hannah agreed.

She had first asked for Fruit of the Loom garments; on our advice she moved to Gildan, which at very little difference in price is a noticeably better garment.

The result

The T-shirts have become a regular order.
