Important Note:

While we provide international shipping services, Garment Printing is not licensed to import goods into other countries. As the recipient of the goods, you may need to assist with customs clearance in your country. If there are any issues or if additional information is needed, you will need to contact your local customs authority for further assistance.

Shipping from the UK to the EU:

Since Brexit, the UK is no longer part of the EU single market, meaning shipments from the UK to EU countries are treated as international shipments. Here's a brief breakdown of how it works:

  1. Customs Duties & VAT:
    • Customs Declarations: All shipments need to be declared at customs. This includes providing information like the product's value, description, and origin.

    • VAT: Goods sent to the EU are subject to VAT (Value Added Tax), and each EU country has its own VAT rate.

  2. EORI Number (for recipient):
    • EORI (Economic Operators Registration and Identification) number: The recipient in the EU will need an EORI number to clear the goods through customs. This number identifies businesses and individuals when importing goods into an EU country. If the recipient doesn't have an EORI number, they will need to apply for one in their respective EU country.

    • Without an EORI number, the customs clearance process may be delayed.

Shipping from the UK to the USA:

Shipping to the USA is relatively straightforward but still requires attention to detail with customs regulations.

  1. Customs Duties & Taxes:
    • The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency handles customs duties and taxes.

    • Goods valued over $800 USD (per shipment) are subject to customs duties and taxes. Anything under this amount is generally exempt.

  2. EIN Number (for recipient):
    • The recipient in the USA may require an EIN (Employer Identification Number) if the shipment is being received by a business. This number is needed for customs clearance and tax purposes.

    • If the recipient is an individual, they generally won't need an EIN, but businesses will need it for customs processing.

Shipping from the UK to the Rest of the World:

For countries outside the EU and USA, the general process involves similar customs regulations but can vary significantly by region.

  1. Customs Duties & Taxes:
    • Customs duties and taxes depend on the specific country's regulations, and each nation will have different thresholds and rates for these fees.

    • You’ll need to ensure that your shipment complies with the destination country’s import regulations.

  2. EORI Number (for recipient):
    • For shipments from the UK to countries outside the EU, the recipient will need an EORI number (if applicable to their country) to clear the goods through customs. This is required in some non-EU countries for the customs clearance process.

    • If the recipient doesn’t have an EORI number, it’s their responsibility to apply for one in their country before the shipment can be processed.

Additional Information for International Shipping

  • Tracking: We use shipping services that offer tracking numbers for international shipments, so both the sender and recipient can monitor the progress of the goods.

  • Delivery Time: The delivery time depends on the shipping method chosen, which can range from a few days (express shipping) to several weeks (economy shipping).

  • Shipping Costs: The cost of shipping depends on the destination, size, weight of the package, and shipping service chosen.
