IBM, a Boston-based tech company contacted Garment Printing looking to get printed newspapers which could be used at Mobile World Congress 2016 which took place in Barcelona. As they were heading to the event from Boston, it was important to make sure that all of the printing work was done to the highest possible standards and we were able to get the order delivered to them directly at the event.
As IBM was heading to the Mobile World Congress, they were looking to get promotional newspapers printed which were to be used as giveaway items at the event. Being a Boston-based company, it was important that we had to get the printing right as they were selecting to have the newspapers delivered directly to their stand at MWC.
In order to ensure that the client was perfectly happy with the printed newspapers, we had to provide the client with a printed sample so they could check the quality of the paper and the quality of the printing to ensure it displayed everything that they needed. In order to achieve this, we arranged for a digital sample to be sent directly to them in the United States.
Once the sample was received, we were in constant communication to make minor adjustments until the design was perfect and exactly what the client had in mind. Once the minor adjustments were made, we sent then began printing 6,000 newspapers which consisted of 8, A2 pages.
Once the digital sample was confirmed, we sent the rest of the order to print and we created the full order of 6,000 copies and delivered them directly to the event 2 days prior to it starting. The repercussions of the printed newspapers were phenomenal and IBM gave away 2,000 copies per day. The client was delighted with the printing and delivery services that we were able to offer.
We managed to print and deliver all 6,000 newspapers in less than a week.
