Epson’s New Dye-Sublimation Launch

Epson UK have launched a new dye-sublimation printer to their range, which will lead the way for new textile businesses and allowing growth for existing ones. This move into dye-sublimation printers is one that will enhance the presence of Epson UK – especially within the global textile printing market. 

The SC-F6300 printer was developed with particular focus on textile producers, photographic studios and promotional goods businesses – allowing the businesses and companies to expand current products or develop current techniques. 

The new SC-F6300 printer expands on the success it’s previous model experienced (which was the SureColor SC-F6200). The changes in the new SC-F6300 model, means that usability has improved, and reduced downtime for the printer has also been introduced. The new SC-F6300 printer will also come with a collection of inclusive software – meaning users are offered Epson Edge Print RIP, Epson Edge Dashboard Support, including EMX profiles, and Epson’s LFP Accounting Tool. 

By including these key softwares as part of the SC-F6300 printer bundle, Epson are hoping it will improve the efficiency of using the SC-F6300, but that users will also feel more confident and comfortable using the technology too. It’ll allow them to better analyse their business and production costing and even their profitability too. 

Phil McMullin, who is a sales manager for Epson UK, said at a recent industry event that the new model SC-F6300 is something that will vastly change the experience for print service providers and will even give those providers access to a wide range of key growth markets too.

“Digital print still has a very small percentage of the global textile market so we see a huge opportunity for all our textile printing technology, not just dye sub,” McMullin said. “That said, the low capital cost and small footprint of the F6300 makes it ideal for even small businesses, so we see demand staying strong for many years”
