SOL’S

SOL’S, the European leader in promotional clothing, is a brand for all professions. Designed in Paris, the customisable range includes both on-trend and essential core styles from t-shirts, sweatshirts and corporate wear to fashion styles, screen printed jackets, embroidered fleece and soft shells.

SOL’S are a member of Reach. An acronym of ‘Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals’, Reach is a European Union regulation dating from 2006. Whilst there is no specific procedure for obtaining Reach certification, SOL’S clothing can supply an internal declaration stating that a process for regulatory compliance and checking is in place.

SOL’S clothing and t-shirt printing offers 100% cotton products derived from ORGANIC agriculture, certified in accordance with the Organic Content Standard awarded by Control Union Certifications. SOL’S works with the internationally recognised Control Union Certifications to guarantee a level of certification that guarantees full traceability of the cotton used in its items. OCS certification of these items guarantees that the cotton is grown without the use of chemicals or synthetic fertilisers, and without the presence of GMOs. SOL’S makes adhering to and complying with environmental specifications one of its top priorities. It is Organic Content Standard certified under registration number CU815208, via the internationally recognised Control Union Certifications body.

SOL’s Corporate Clothing

SOL’S promotional clothing has been keen to work with partners who are familiar with recognised standards such as BSCI, WRAP, NUK, etc. Today, their commitment via FAIR WEAR means that, as well as auditing the entire supply chain according to one same standard, they also have the opportunity to provide training and support to workers and their managers. We are proud to work with key industry players in raising awareness of their rights, whilst guaranteeing a working environment that meets health and safety standards. In 2015, 60% of production sites were audited by Fair Wear. In 2019, the aim was to reach 90%. The Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) is an independent, non-profit organisation that works with businesses and factories with a view to improving conditions for workers within the textile and clothing industry. The Fair Wear Foundation Code of Conduct is based on the principles of the International Labour Organization and the United Nations. The 70 member companies represent almost 100 brands and are based in seven European countries. Production is monitored in 15 countries across Asia, Europe and Africa.

At Garment Printing, we work closely with SOL’S clothing for their passion in sustainability. They believe they are responsible for establishing a roadmap aimed at reducing our environmental impact on the planet, with their commitments to safety and society already well advanced. Adhering to the Sustainable Apparel Coalition lends support to SOL’S strategy whilst enabling them to implement audit tools into their process, monitor performance indicators and employing exemplary practices to tackle industrial challenges.
