Elif Aydemir-Tyson is a committed individual who has helped organise a three peaks challenge to raise money for the charity Marie Curie. The challenge was comprised of 8 people going by the collective name of ‘Three Weak Knees’. They are Mark, Richard Murphy, Bryant Yates, Juliet Scholegl, Helen Nasser, Dave Carter, Laila Zidan and Simon Edwards. All whom needed Custom made T-Shirts!
The Three Peaks challenge is an attempt to scale the three highest peaks of England (Scafell Pike), Scotland (Ben Nevis) and Wales (Snowdon) within 24 hours. The Three Weak Knees’ successful attempt at the challenge was done in the memory of their late colleague David Tyson, to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
We was contacted with a request of printing 10 personally designed T-Shirts with writing and charity logos all printed on the front. We knew that we had a specific deadline to meet as the team were due to leave to start their Three Peaks challenge. We opted for a colour cut-out transfer printing as it was the perfect choice for lower quantity, full colour prints onto coloured T Shirts.
The challenge was that there was very small details and dots in the writing and some of the logos. On the first run, a few of the dots didn’t turn out correctly but we was able to speed up the printing process and produce a second batch which came out perfectly. We then used an express delivery service to get the T Shirts to the clients in time for them to embark on their journey to the first peak.
After correcting the minor slip up, we managed to get all of the T-Shirts delivered in plenty of time and the client was very happy with their printed garments. The Three Weak Knees then sent us this message:
“Thanks to Garment Printing for arranging our great T-Shirts. And thanks to everyone who sponsored us.
The Three Weak Knees have so far raised over £2,500 for Marie Curie thanks to your generosity.”
