Planning your next adventure? See the road trip checklist by Garment Printing. This list will tell you what are the most necessary items to bring with you for an enjoyable experience. Read more!

1. All necessary documents/paperwork

To begin the list with the not so fun, but really inevitable part – the necessary documents! Before starting your journey, make sure that you’ve got all the important documents. If you are planning on making your road trip in a foreign country, you might need to bring an international driver’s license with you. If you’re not sure, whether your desired country(ies) require some additional documents, this list will help the UK driving licence holders out.

2. Printed polo shirts

Now we’re coming to the more fun part – clothes! Since you cannot bring too much on your travel, your clothes have to be smart. That’s why printed polo-shirts are a perfect option to bring along your vacation. They are very versatile, so they allow you to dress them up or down for any occasion. Why not bring a printed polo shirt with you? They can make your road trip more fun and can be kept as a memory. At Garment Printing we are offering qualitative printing services for our printed polo shirts.

3. Phone holder

This is a really important item to bring with you because you are driving along unknown streets, so you probably need some help with the navigation of your planned route. Since it is a law to have your hands free while driving, a phone holder is a perfect product.

4. Your own “pharmacy”

Keep in mind that during a road trip you can get sick, whether it is a headache, food poisoning or a virus,  it is always good to carry important medications with you. When you’re on the road, you never know how far away the next pharmacy is. The most essential items are

  • Painkiller
  • First aid kit
  • Bug spray
  • Anti-febrile medication
  • Thermometer
  • Charcoal tablets
  • Disinfectant
  • Any personal medication

5. Spork

This hybrid between a fork and a spoon is super practical when you’re eating on the go. It allows you to eat everything, from soup to pasta. It will make your life on the road so much easier. However, you might want to consider eco-friendly ones to keep an eye on the plastic-pollution.

6. Personalised baseball caps

Not only have they become a really fashionable item over the last months, but personalised baseball caps are also a really good protection against the sun. They are the perfect casual road trip item to bring along with you.  At Garment Printing we are offering a variety of personalised head-wear. Check them out here!

7. Travel Pillow and blanket

If you’re planning on sleeping in the car at nights, you should not forget to take with you a travel pillow and blanket. A travel pillow will provide you with the necessary comfort and will make sure that you are well rested to continue your trip driving. And don’t forget to bring a blanket if you’re planning your road trip when it is getting cold at night.

8. Personalised Flip Flops

Personalised Flip Flops will be your lifesaver when you’re on a road trip. Even if you travel during winter time, you should bring them. You might have to use communal showers where sometimes the hygienic conditions are not the best, thus you might want to wear them to protect your feet. If you would like to bring something special on your journey, Garment Printing offers personalised flip flops.

9. Spare tire

Always make sure that the car you’re driving during the road trip has a spare tire because you never know if it could be needed and then you do not want to be stuck somewhere without a replacement.

10. Power  bank

When you’re using your phone for your navigation and maybe even also to play the music,  you can be out of battery really quickly.  So that you’re not getting lost on the road due to an empty battery, a power bank can be a real lifesaver in such a situation.
